Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev, Brezhnev, Obama . . .
– Doctor Leon Endorses John McCain for
President
October 28, 2008
National elections are a week away. Americans have very
little time left to make an intelligent (non-emotional)
decision about which candidate to elect for the job of
president.
To my way of thinking neither Obama or McCain deserves the
job. I wish we could start the whole campaign over with
honest, intelligent and better qualified candidates.
Unfortunately, that isn’t going to happen and we are all
stuck with the chore of electing a president who will do the
least amount of damage to our lives and our country over the
next four years.
That challenge seems daunting, but after you shovel through
the massive piles of accumulated campaign tripe; media bias;
emotional hysteria; conservative radio doublespeak and
candidate presumptions of voter ignorance, the choice
becomes clear.
Some believe McCain would be “more of the same,” but if
Obama is elected, he and his inner circle will begin the
process of turning our beloved country into a carbon copy of
Russia before it disintegrated.
For those of you who remember (and those who don’t); in
Russia if you were an athlete, a scientist, a criminal or a
government official you had it made. If you were none of
those; you were shit. Obama and his political advisers dream
of driving us down the same road the Russians did even
though socialism has not worked successfully anywhere in the
world. So if you are not a world-class athlete, a scientist,
a successful criminal or a government official; you become
one of Obama’s proverbial peasants. History
demonstrates the very real fact that peasants are
considered expendable.
For that reason, I hereby announce my endorsement of John
McCain for president of the United States of America.
My rationale is simple. I love my country dearly and I am
proud to be an American; not embarrassed to be one as Obama
claims to be. I have traveled extensively overseas and
assure you America is not “hated,” but admired by all except
terrorists or foreign governments that make a habit of
oppressing freedom, or abusing human rights (like China).
Anyone who believes we are hated overseas is truly
misguided, gullible and doesn’t travel much.
I work hard to pay for my house, take care of my family and
save a little extra for my eventual retirement. According to
the IRS, my salary barely places me in the lower
middle-class category, but Obama still wants to take money
away from me and use it to bribe foreign governments and
provide benefits for illegal aliens. Where in the
Constitution does it say I am responsible for a criminal’s
health care or a foreign dictator’s personal slush fund?
Don’t ask Obama; he seems to think our Constitution is
basically flawed.
If anybody here doubts we live in the greatest country on
this planet, I wish them all the best in their voluntary
relocation to any country they believe is better. I see an
America populated by a surprising number of hypocrites who
talk smack about our “terrible” country but choose to remain
here nonetheless. If things are so much better in so many
other places like Cuba or Canada; why the hell are you
living here? Hypocrites!
A quick check of Wikipedia provides the following excerpt of
Russia’s history:
“The Russian Revolution in 1917 was triggered by a
combination of economic breakdown, war weariness, and
discontent with the autocratic system of government, and it
first brought a coalition of liberals and moderate
socialists to power, but their failed policies led to
seizure of power by ...”
Sounds strikingly familiar, doesn’t it? The same thing will
happen to America if Obama becomes president with a
Democratic majority in both houses of Congress. Our
government will enact an avalanche of socialist legislation
that can not possibly raise the standard of living for the
poor, but instead will dramatically lower the standard of
living for the middle class.
The wealthy won’t be affected because they and their
businesses will leave the country; causing massive
unemployment and a failure of our economy that will make
today’s market gyrations seem like the “good old days.” Then
when the entire population is destitute and totally
dependent on the government for survival, the government
will transform itself into a dictatorship and rename our
country The Union Of Obama Socialist Republics.
With McCain, we have a chance of fighting our way through
today’s national and international tough times because we’ve
done that before. With Obama we can give up our guns, burn
our Bibles, bribe foreign terrorists to leave us alone and
witness the death of our beloved country as we all know it.
Either that or we just die out from lack of adequate medical
treatment because all of the wealthy doctors will have left
our country for other countries where income taxes are lower
and moronic government bureaucrats don’t decide which
medical procedures are appropriate or inappropriate for our
needs.
If you think you have it bad now; give Obama a chance.
Suicide will start looking like a pleasant option after his
policies cause an unemployment rate higher than 20 percent,
the price of gas goes to more than $10 per gallon (where
most radical Democrats wish it was now so everyone would use
less); more than 50 percent of everyone’s meager income goes
to federal taxes, and you can’t get life-saving medical
treatment or procedures because you’re too old or there are
too many illegal immigrants in line ahead of you.
McCain is not the answer but he is the best chance we have
of enduring until someone better comes along. Sad, but true.
See you at the polls. Just for fun; when the exit pollsters
ask who you voted for, make something up or tell them you
left that choice on your ballot blank.
